Retire in Style in Filey

What do you see yourself doing once you retire? Will you still be throwing yourself into the city sprawl, or do you dream of something a tad slower? Perhaps, something more relaxed and peaceful, where you can explore new hills and valleys slowly. Then, wander along a picturesque shoreline with the salt breeze tussling your hair as you go. What does the recent interest rates rise mean to you?

One of the biggest announcements for some time within the banking industry was announced this August with interest rates increasing from 0.25% to 0.75%.

Thinking of renting your property?

Being a landlord isn't as simple as finding a tenant and taking rent. It's important to ensure that you're making an informed decision when deciding to rent out your house. Landlords are subject to many rules and regulations, and your property is valuable. A poor decision may be costly.

The DPS have created a checklist to tick off some questions you might have. It's not an exhaustive list but can be used as a useful tool. We’d always recommend you seek legal or professional advice before entering into any kind of tenancy agreement.
