On a High

Hunters started 2016 on a high after its most successful year to date. Highlights of 2015 included opening an unprecedented number of new branches; floating on the London Stock Exchange and launching a dedicated residential development and investment arm.

The brand continued its rapid expansion across the country, opening in an impressive 32 new locations including Oxford, Southampton, London, Sunderland, the Wirral, Norfolk and Kent.

Andrew Bushell, sales director of Hunters Franchising, said; “2015 was a ground-breaking year for Hunters; not only did we expand into new territories with a record number of branch openings, we also received unprecedented levels of interest across the country from both new start-up operations and conversions of independent estate agencies looking to join the Hunters network. We have a strong pipeline in place for 2016, which is already off to a great start - including first quarter openings in four locations in the North West and one in central London.”

Family First

Hunters began as a family business, so its directors have been pleased to hear reports that franchising has helped many find that all-elusive work/life balance.

“Coming under the Hunters umbrella has helped many of our franchisees not only grow their business - by an average of 36% in the first year - but the support of being part of a wider organisation is helping with other things like family life,” says Andrew Bushell, sales director of Hunters Franchising. “For many, just having a third person- a friendly and experienced voice at the end of the phone to bounce ideas around with - has made a real difference. For others it’s getting things like staff training and computer systems sorted out. The way Hunters takes away some of the headaches of running a business and lets owners concentrate on the important things, including their family life, is really encouraging.”

Here to Get you There

There can be no doubting that Hunters walks the walk, but the company has entered 2016 talking the talk as well.

There was a huge amount of behind-the-scenes brainstorming in coming up with the firm’s new brand promise ‘Here to get you there’. Just five little words, but they’ve already made a huge impression.

“2015 saw several milestones that took our brand into many new locations and onto new, exciting platforms,” reports Pernilla Tweddle, Hunters’ Marketing Director. “This included the brand promise, which has absolutely hit the spot, and our first national television commercial - which illustrates how moving house is so much more than just a transaction.”

The TV commercial continues on national TV during 2016 and can also be viewed here
