The first is regarding a property we sold in Hemlington. The house came onto the market late September and we had a viewing lined up for 2 days later with first time buyers. The next day, we had agreed a sale for 98% of the asking price. The sale went through very smoothly and completed not long after, ready for the young couple to enjoy Christmas in their beautiful new home.
Just recently we received an instruction to sell a property on behalf of a corporate client, given to the Middlesbrough office in conjunction with another estate agent. We received the instruction on the Friday and our Personal Agent (working in the specific area) had the board erected the same day and photographs arranged to be taken at the vendor’s earliest convenience on the Monday. Over the weekend, the agent called around their ‘hot buyers’ and arranged a viewing for the Monday to tie in with the photograph appointment. By close of business that day, the agent had received a cash offer of the full asking price for the property, with solicitors instructed and exchange projected by the end of January.
All of this before the other agent had been in touch to arrange an appointment to take photographs, or have the board erected. We call it the Hunters difference!
