We understand that, as our auction lots are from all over the country, many of you may be unable to attend the auction in person. To make sure you are still able to bid on the property you want, we offer a Telephone/ Proxy bidding service.
For a Telephone bid, we can arrange for a member of staff to speak with you on the night. They will relay your response to the Auctioneer so that you are part of the bidding going on in the room.
For a Proxy bid, we require your maximum bid in advance. The Auctioneer will then bid against the room up to the level you have given. If the room does not surpass your maximum amount, you will have the winning bid.
For each of the above, we must have the following in place;
- Completed form (will be available in the next catalogue or by email from the Auction Department)
- 10% deposit (based on the top end of the guide price, unless stated otherwise within the property contract)
- Buyer's premium - &1,795 + vat (&2,154 inclusive)
- Two forms of identification for proof of identity and current address (we can accept a valid passport, driving licence and/ or utility bill from the last 3 months.
